Commercial cleaners use a lot of different products, including bowl brushes and dusters. These are the two products we will be focusing on in this article about commercial cleaning.
Bowl brushes are another needed thing to have for a commercial cleaner. Most commercial buildings, regardless of what type they are, will have some kind of bathroom. After all, there are people who work at these commercial buildings and they will need to go to the bathroom eventually. Bowl brushes are a great way to easily clean a toilet bowl. Obviously, you don’t want to use something like a microfiber cloth to clean a toilet bowl, as you will be getting too up close and personal with a lot of pathogens and other dirty things. There are also bowl mops that are available, but they’re a little bit harder to work than a bowl brush. The easiest option to go for is the bowl brush. They are also relatively low prices, about 5-10 dollars for one bowl brush.
Dusters are a very important thing for a commercial cleaner to have. While microfiber cloths can work for dusting lower level desks, shelves, and counters, you will need some kind of duster to reach fan blades and light fixtures. To do this, you will want to find a microfiber duster. Microfiber dusters are much better than feather dusters because they actually trap the dust in them instead of just spreading it around like a feather duster does. If a client has extremely delicate things that need to be dusted, however, they may request that a feather duster be used. For your average cleaning job, you will not need one; you can just focus on getting a good microfiber duster. You will need a microfiber duster that has an extendable handle of up to eight feet. That way, you can easily reach up into corners and dust them. You may also want to get an angled duster that can also dust off ceiling fans and other awkwardly angled fixtures. A cheap microfiber duster will cost only around 7 dollars.
